The 1994 Ford Bronco equipped with speed control had Ford recall no. 05s28 accomplished in 2008. In 2012 the wiring overheated and caused damage and a leak to the master cylinder resovoir and had to be disconnected. When Ford was contacted they instructed that the recall had been accomplished and they could not warranty the part.
Consumer parked the vehicle in the front of the house, went into the house for only a few minutes, when the neighbor knocked on the door to inform them the vehicle was on fire. The fire department responded and extinguished the fire. However, vehicle was totaled.
