One problem related to headlights has been reported for the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Premature? headlight plastic cloudiness, and decreased light transfer. This happened with a previous Mercury vehicle (1990 sable) and now on 1996 Ford Crown Victoria. Headlights were excellent when newer, now the clouding of the plastic lenses has reduced the effectiveness of the headlights at night. Dealer advises that this is normal and that the repair is new lenses at customer expense.
