Three problems related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings have been reported for the 1997 Ford Crown Victoria. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake line forward of rear axle and above fuel filter rubs on car body, resulting in a hole in brake line.
Vehicle caught on fire due to a faulty fuel line. No prior warning.
A pin hole size leak developed in the high pressure fuel line, and was replaced along with the brake hydraulic line. Mr scc.
