The component is the tires, they did not hold the road in light rain. The car as totaled. I have photos, and I am storing the car, so the tires and car it can be inspected.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 05/09/2010

Tire failure. On freeway traveling at apx 75 tread came off tire on back drivers side causing it to serve tip over and land in the ditch. A small amount of tread left on a small portion of tire with the rest of the dread coming off completely.

3 Tire problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2003

Police officer noticed one of the front tires was flat due to a faulty/cracked rim.
