Vehicle's windshield wipers activated in the off position and would not respond to operator's actions. Problem required removal of fuse 17 to stop wiper action. Problem manifested without warning. Diagnosed as faulty wiper motor due to poor drainage of upper and lower wiper trays at and around the location of the wiper motor. Solution required replacement of wiper motor; thorough cleaning of upper and lower wiper trays; replacement of weatherstrip along lower wiper tray; and replacement of screen and gasket over passenger-side air intake.
The steering coulumn tightens up periodicly, results in hard steering, have been using wd40 to loosen up , noticed recall for 2005 model years and up. Blower moter shuts down periodicly resulting in loss of vision from lack of defrosters, problem is a hard to reach connector plug underneath hood,tried cleaning,will not clear problem,no corossion noticed. Headlights repaird under recall, lighting controll module replaced.
