1 Paint problem

Failure Date: 05/04/2010

Paint peeled off roof and both "c" pillars. Ford has a TSB (09n02) but will not help Crown Victoria police interceptor owners who are not government agencies or cvpi's that are not in law enforcement/government service. Was forced to pay out-of pocket for repaint of effected areas. Now I noticed that paint is peeling off hood. I tried the dealer, who called Ford corporate and they told the dealership they could not help me because the vehicle is not in service and privately owned.

2 Paint problem

Failure Date: 01/13/2009

We have 21 2006 Ford police interceptor police cars. Everyone of them is experiencing paint cracks and or paint popping off the roof or quarter panels by the rear window. You can see the gray primer in the exposed areas where the white paint has popped off. Ford denies the problem. All of the vehicles in my police fleet have between 50,000 and 65,000 miles. We took delivery of all of these vehicles in January 2006.
