The operator of the vehicle applied the brake and stopped the vehicle, however, it started to accelarate on its own and move forward. The engine continiued to rev and the vehicle continued to move forward to the point that the operator had to place two feet on the brake. There have been several other complaints of this nature regarding Crown Victorias. This vehicle is a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria police vehicle.
Heater eatc blend door motor failed.
Experienced unintended acceleration. Vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, with my foot on the brake. Suddenly the engine raced, propelling my vehicle into the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of me, causing body damage to both. Thiswas the fourth occurance of the same problem, three while I was driving, once when my wife was driving, dating back to November, 2010. We were informed, by the one repairing the body, that he experienced the same problem when driving our vehicle into his shop. He can verify this occurance. Obviously, this is a serious problem, and it has already caused considerable stress and angst for both of us. The consequences could be most severe. To my knowledge there has been no recall relative to this problem, but I feel very strongly that it should be required.
Car had been running rough for a couple of days I assumed was poor gas quality when the car got loud and ran rough I pulled over opened hood and found that a spark plug blew right out of engine breaking the coil on plug and stripping the threads in the head.
The rear axle went out on the passenger side approximately 8 months or so before the driver side rear axle started going. There have been recalls for this same thing on the same make, year and model as my car. We replaced the passenger rear axle and are now facing having to replace the driver's side.

The check engine light keeps coming on and dealer can't find problem. I found previous owner and he stated the check engine light constantly came on and his mechanic never found the problem either. It has come on for the 5th time and I have only owned the car less than 4 months!!!!! previous owner stated that he did not have any engine failures or noticeable problems with the engine running; but the light is infuriating. It is obvious that dealer who sold me the car was aware of the problem and failed to correct it before selling it to me and made no disclosure of the defect to me. It is also obvious that this is a problem with many crown vics after reading previous notices on this site but Ford has failed to do anything about it. I'd like to get class action proceedings started against Ford. . . Anyone up for it? contact me at this email address talk2velda@msn. Com.

This is second submission on this dangerous coach. A large 3 foot metal storage compartment fell off the coach onto the road after only 1 month of use. The compartmenr had a variety of items in it. Thank god I was turning off the highway into a parking lot when the screws failed and it broke from the frame. I was able to remove it before anyone was killed. The factory put it back on but it was never really safe. The same compartment was falling off a second time earlier this summer when we detected the problem. Another metal storage compartment is releasing at this time. We do not know when it will fall off, but it is not safe! a large steel leveling jack with self-contained hydraulic tank fell off the coach after another weld broke. This large metal object fell onto the road at a time I could stop on the pavement to pick it up and get it and us out of harm's way. Welds brake. Many of the screws were not installed during manufacturing process. Other remaining screws fail causing large objects to fall onto the road from the coach. We have had more than 100 problems requiring service in just over one year of ownership. It has been in the shop for 7 months of the first year due to manufacturer defects! this coach is not safe for us or the people traveling behind us. It seems that the coach was not made with any integrity. The fiberglass walls are delaminating from the frame. Doors fall off the closets with glass mirrors that could disfigure anyone nearby. It dies without warning and control of the vehicle is lost. This is a 35 foot bomb with metal shrapnel traveling down the highway. There have been too many problems and repair shops to list. The factory seems to be doing a "cover-up. " I allowed them to fly their own inspector to meet evaluate the coach. We were to receive a copy of his report. After he gave it to their president, I was refused a copy. It is now for "internal purposes only. " please help me!.
The floor mats keeps shifting right into & under the gas pedal and/or brakes. This causes an interference with the application of either or both pedals. Will be taking to dealer to get mats more stabilized.
