Three problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1998 Ford E-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When applying the brakes vehicle skids and the pedal does not kick back. Also the abs does not activate. Vehicle has rear ended another vehicle. Dealer has seen vehicle 3 times, and said it was normal. Can not find problem on computer.
When brakes are applied, they fail to slow down or stop vehicle right away. This causes an extended stopping distance. Will be taking vehicle to dealer to check.
Brakes pull to left & when applied hard left side brakes lock up and jerk vechicle to left.
