Seat Belt Problems of Ford E-150

Passenger seat belt stopped working out of the blue. I've had tire sensor thing on my dash since I've bought it an I'm not sure what is happening. The horn stopped working recently. And the overhead dome light doesn't work.

Air bag code 33 flashing on dash . Ford states driver side seat belt buckle to be replaced at $ 527. 00 . Is this not a safety issue by that Ford should address at no cost to the consumer ? please help .

The contact owns a 1998 Ford E-150. While at a stop sign the contact was rear ended by a vehicle driving approximately 35 mph. A police report was filed. The vehicle was driven away from the scene with damage to the rear bumper and frame. The contact suffered neck pain and was seen by a doctor at the hospital. A cat scan was performed but there was no diagnosis. Approximately four months after the crash occurred the contact continued to suffer from neck pain. The doctor performed an mri and diagnosed that the contact sustained a broken neck caused by trauma. The contact stated the injury may have occurred due to the seat belt laying on the neck during the crash. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.

For the last 3 months, my seat belt warning beep has been on whether I have my seat belt on or off. The dealer ship where I bought this van, which is bill collins Ford, has not been able to help with this problem. Also my dvd player stopped working and the 3 row seat belt strap has broke off.

The outer covers of all the seatbelts in the 3rd row have all fractured resulting in the inability to latch any of the seatbelts. . This sounds very similar to the Ford escape recall 03v507000. When the rear of casing fractured, the inner part of the seatbelt moved within the casing resulting in the inability to latch the seatbelt. Attempts at repair were unsuccessful.

The seat belts on all three rows on the right hand side, the harness is shredding. When you sit in the seat the shred gets into the buckle. The dealer stated the seat belts have been abused.

Buckle to connect to receiver does't stay close at all. Dealership is aware of problem.
