Wiper Problems of Ford E-150

Windshield wiper fluid dispenser freezes even with -30 degree fluid in it. It becomes very dangerous for visibility when snow, slush or something hit the windshield. It happens anytime in low temps and does not deforest even when the truck has been running for a long period of time.

On or about oct. 26 my husband was driving to our pharmacy to pick up meds. He was driving alone. Thankfully our grandchildren were not with him. He told me the back window just exploded he told me at first he thought it was a gun shot. He pulled over and there was glass everywhere. Ford has known about this problem for quite sometime.

The contact owns a 2004 Ford f-150. The contact stated the front passenger's side window independently opened. The failure recurred several months later on the rear passenger window. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated that both window regulator assemblies would need to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacture was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Ford f-150. The contact stated while traveling 30 mph the rear driver side window collapsed into its housing. The contact merged to the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic where it was confirmed that the window regulator had failed. The failure recurred at a different time with another window. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer has been contacted. The failure and current mileages were 66,000.
