After full acceleration, the throttle on my 1999 Ford e250 stuck wide open. The vehicle did not shut off and there was no time to shift into neutral. The vehicle has adaptive controls making shifting more difficult than for a non-disabled driver. The adaptive equipment could be the cause, but most likely it was the Ford throttle.
