1 Body problem of the 2010 Ford E-250

Failure Date: 07/01/2021

The rubber body mounts that are used between the body and chassis have deteriorated and crumbled to the point that there is nothing left but the bolt where a mount or bushing once was and this has happened within 100,000 or less on this vehicle when first noticed due to very harsh ride, body roll, popping and screeching noise from underneath van due to the rubber missing in places. This has been a constant problem with our f-250 Ford trucks as well and we do not drive the van or trucks off road and do not tow either and never drive in salt on roads in the winter so this is not due to road salt or muddy wet conditions of off roading as we are in the house cleaning business and never drive on anything other than paved or solid driveways on all jobs and do not work if bad weather is present. The bad mounts cause severe body roll, radiator damage due to bottom of radiator making contact with frame because rubber eventually fell apart and caused body to contact chassis cracking the radiator on bottom and the flexing due to instability cracked the side casing on radiator as well. This has been a safety issue for years and the new Ford trucks are still having this issue as we are dealing with this again on the new truck with less than 60,000 miles and this is the truck that we use to estimate jobs so it's basically a town truck and shouldn't be having failing body mounts. I believe during an accident the body could separate from chassis if this isn't corrected and it greatly affects the handling and ride of the vehicle when body contacts the chassis and also damages other components such as radiator. Reapirs about 2000. 00 for new mounts replacement.

2 Body problem of the 2013 Ford E-250

Failure Date: 07/11/2017

Driver's side door latch is broken. Door will not remain closed which is a safety issue. The problem started about a week ago, while the vehicle was stationary and has gotten progressively worse. Now the latch does not engage at all so the vehicle can not be used. It is a company mail van and is in the process of being repaired.

3 Body problem of the 2012 Ford E-250

Failure Date: 11/16/2014

As I was driving my 2012 Ford f250 diesel a light came on indicating a problem with the electronic locking rear differential. Seconds later the computer screen stated flashing different warnings- the computer chimed non-stop with the alarms until, within 10 seconds from this starting, the engine was shut down by the computer and I was left to coast to a stop. It was not an easy stop- this truck weighs 8,500 pounds and with no power it is extremely difficult to navigate over to the side of the road. Two cars appeared to collided when the engine cut out and I could not keep in the lane on the curve. I would surely be seriously injured or dead or injured/killed others if I was towing a load on one of the mountain passes when this shut down occured- this truck has a diesel and purposely designed for heavy towing- 16,000 miles on it and Ford's new diesel is a potential killer.

4 Body problem of the 2008 Ford E-250

Failure Date: 07/18/2013

I was driving in the rain going 45 and as I was heading downhill I attempted to slow down. The vehicle began to hydroplane and I could not control the direction I was going. I ran front first into a guardrail and my van flipped over and rolled. The air bags never deployed and the vehicle was totaled.
