general problems of the 2008 Ford E-350

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Ford E-350. The contact stated that a failure progressed in which the brake pedal was not responding randomly. The contact stated that while driving an unknown rate of speed, two of the four front disc brake bolts fractured. Two of the four bolts fractured one on each side. The lower bolts failed prematurely with no warning causing a failure to the brake system. The dealer was notified of the failure and indicated that they would not able to schedule an appointment in a reasonable time frame. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop who replaced all 4 bolts and also replaced a caliber. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.

There is a loud "popping" noise when the braking of the van comes to a complete stop. Sometimes I am afraid the van is not going to stop all the way. From what I am reading online, it may be under previous recall for the brake system. I have no idea how to go about getting recall information, etc. To have a Ford dealership fix this problem.

The contact owns a 2008 Ford f-350. The contact stated that while traveling 75 mph, the power steering assist failed. The steering wheel became abnormally stiff and as the contact attempted to move the vehicle to the road shoulder, the brake pedal was depressed and abnormally traveled to the floorboard. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the lines connected to the steering and braking systems was completed rusted and needed replacing. The contact stated that the vehicle had been parked inside and had not been exposed to the outside elements for the lines to become rusted. The manufacturer was also contacted and advised that the vehicle was no longer covered under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 17,000.

When there is any dew or moisture of any kind on the road the truck wont stop without the front breaks locking up and wont stop, also the spark plugs have blown out of the motor prior to this it starts to develop a misfire, and the rear sustention is so weak the rear of the truck drags the ground when there is a low spot or dup in the road and has worn the metal off the bottom of the tow hitch making it unsafe and useless.
