Two problems related to speed control linkage have been reported for the 1999 Ford Econoline. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While traveling on highway, vehicle acellerated suddenly. Dealership was aware of problem.
Consumer was pulling into parking space and vehicle rivved real hard & accelerated into the space. It jumped curb, went up in the air & came down on the front hood of another vehicle. Dealer put vehicle on the diagnostic machine and they found nothing. They were saying that something could be wrong.
