Two problems related to wheel bolts have been reported for the 1999 Ford Econoline. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1996 Ford Econoline right front tire came off the vehicle. Consumer stated he then pulled over to the shoulder. There was damage to the front tire, rotor, steering arm and front quarter panel. (ohio traffic crash report).
Lugs: nuts on left rear wheel snapped off, causing tire to come off vehicle. Consumer was traveling at approximately 35-40 mph when this happened.
