One problem related to speed sensor has been reported for the 2001 Ford Econoline. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2001 Ford Econoline with speed control sensor recall. Consumer states that both vans have this recall concerning the speed control and that the parts would not be available until August of 2008 in order to repair the problem. The second van is a 2001 Ford Econoline. The consumer stated the dealer disconnected the speed control switch, but they didn't install the fused wiring harness per the recall.
