While driving on interstate at a fixed speed of 70mph, the car suddenly accelerated to 80 mph, then slowed down, and reaccelerated. The rpm needle went over to 4000. I had to turn cruise control off. It has occurred several times, but I have noticed that during winter months, it isn't an issue, but when the weather is warm, the problem becomes persistent. Dealership could not find problem so they reset the electronic system. Still had problem.
