Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Ford Edge equipped with mirada cross tour slx 245/60r18 d2n2112. The contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, there was a knot and vibration in the tires. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing where it was confirmed that the thread and sidewall separated from all tires. The front tires and the driver rear tire were replaced. The tires were original equipment. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 12t014000 ( tires). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 115,000 and the tire failure mileage was 20,000. Ak.
