Rear driver side turn signal light stopped working, found rear light socket burnt and melting. This is a safety issue and may present a hazard . Enclosed pictures of the driver and passenger back tail light sockets.
Rear tail light replacement for second time along with marker light. Both bulbs and sockets were black and hot from extreme heat. Cause for concern that this may start a fire.
Badly burned rear tail light sockets. Left rear turn signal quit working, in the process of changing the bulb found the problem to be a badly burned lamp socket. The one on the right is in the same condition. This is a safety problem because it is the brake light and turn signal light.
Both tail light sockets failed and melted.
The rear tail light bulbs have a very short life span, every time I replace one, the base of the bulb is always melted. The sockets themselves are burnt, why are these tail lights getting so excessively hot?.
