Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2013 Ford Edge

I had a 20 mile an hr front end wreck and the air bags did not deploy in chillicothe missouri on north 65 highway.

In a crash involving a front end collision where a truck turned left striking our Edge in the front left, the air bags did not deploy. We were traveling about 25 mph and the other vehicle at about 15-20 mph. My wife suffered a fractured leg and I back issues. The crash was severe enough to total the vehicle. It happened so fast I did not apply brakes. The other vehicle was an older Dodge dakota pickup.

The passenger side air bag did not deploy. The police department was notified. There were four passengers in the vehicle, all passengers sustained injuries. Two of the passengers were taken by ambulance to the hospital, one of the passengers had a lumbar fracture, one had a upper and lower spinal fracture, the third one had a vertebral fracture and the driver had abrasions. The three passengers had to stay in the hospital, two were discharged on the 19th and one had to stay in the hospital. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
