The contact stated that the screen was black screen and while operable, the image was displayed upside down with a beeping sound. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The contact also stated that the liftgate failed to close or open completely. The vehicle was taken to corwin Ford of springfield (3241 south glenstone avenue, springfield, mo, 65804, (417) 883-4330) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the rear camera and liftgate needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 20v575000 (visibility). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 68,000.
