Yes, it can be inspected once the battery is charged or replaced. • how was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? it would not automatically lock the doors while driving. The vehicle is used to transport children. It would say the door is open despite it being closed and locked. The alarm would randomly go off with no one around. • has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? the sensor malfunctioned so much, my battery is now dead. It has not been confirmed by a dealer or service center. • has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? no, it has not been inspected by anyone yet. • were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? the messaging system would randomly tell me my door was open despite it being closed. It became more and more frequent as time went on. Before my battery died, it was happening 3-4 times a night. The issue first appeared in may or June of 2021.

I seriously fear for the safety of my family while driving this vehicle this way. This is our family car that needs this door latched replaced due to a faulty latch. Please, send out the recall. Help me protect my family and those around me from any accidents that may happen due to this faulty door latch.
