The manufacturer was not aware of failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

2 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2025

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission shuddered. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed torque converter. The contact was informed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
