The backup camera isn't working properly; it's very dim and glitchy. This was a known and recalled issue for 2021 - 2022 Ford Edges, but because of my VIN number, they won't fix it without charging me. If I'm having the same issue as the other recalled ones, why won't you service mine?.
Bought this vehicle from bayou Ford in laplace, la around 2 months ago. The back up camera stopped working correctly after first month. Paid to have reset at Ford dealer in slidell, they said wasn't on recall. It's got squiggly lines when selecting reverse on shifter, unable to view behind me. This is dangerous as it's a large vehicle and I fear running over something or into another vehicle out of view. This is the exact problem as the recall indicates. The slidell dealer said it would be over 1k to replace a camera and I don't have it after just buying thr vehicle. This should not be happening with a 2 year old vehicle.
