Has happened on about 3 or 4 occasions that as I am driving it will get a buzzer sounding and red light on dashboard indicating collision is about to happen although there is no other cars or obstacles in the roadway.
Was driving about 30 miles a hour and there were no other cars on the road and there were no obstacles in the road and tbe forward collision warning alert started flashing and dinging on the dashboard. There was absolutely no reason it should have gone off this is about the 4th time it has randomly done this now and it’s a bit concerning.
A month ago I rear ended somebody. I take full responsibility for this. However the crash alert did not go off. Yesterday I was driving down the road in the dark at about 6:00 am, by myself, nobody else around and the crash alert went off for about two minutes saying that I was about ready to get into a wreck. Ford did look at it two weeks ago, they had one of their techs walk around it make sure that the crash alert would go off and apparently it did.
Was driving about 35 mph and out of no where the frontal collision warning went off for no reason. I was the only car on the road at the time and there was no objects in the road either.
