The airbag on the driver's side did not deploy when the vehicle was hit from behind. -it is available for inspection -I was injured -I have not had the airbag inspected by a dealer, but did have the car repaired at an auto collision repair shop -the vehicle has not been inspected by police, insurance rep or dealer, but did have an annual inspection by an auto shop before the failure -there were no warning messages prior to the failure.
Starting the car with the key. You have to push the key in hard as you are turning it.
Tl takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Escape. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v777000 (air bags). The contact called rivertown Ford at 706-653-7420 (located at 1680 whittlesey rd, columbus, GA 31904) and was informed that the parts were not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Every time I ask for, recalls look up by VIN it goes to a screen that says, internet explorer cannot display the web page. I am trying to find out if there is a recall on my vehicle for the airbags, I have a 2010 Ford Escape.
Air bag system spontaneously deployed while car was in motion- vehicle was not involved in collision- just driving down road.
