The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the message "tire pressure sensor fault" was displayed for the rear passenger's side tire; however, the tire air pressure appeared to be normal upon inspection. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 20v635000 (electrical system, tires). The failure mileage was 78,000.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 05/02/2025

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated while driving at approximately 40 mph, the message "low tire pressure fault" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the tpms sensor needed to be replaced. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 20v635000(electrical system, tires); however, the dealer informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided the same information. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.

3 Tire problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2022

I came in for a tpsc sensor recall and discovered that both of my rear tires were bald and my front tires were worn. My brand new car has 23000 miles. I only have had this car for 2 years. Tire size p 225 / 55 r 19.
