The contact stated that when the vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer in fenton, michigan for a maintenance, it was diagnosed that the shock tower frame was rusted and was unsafe to drive. The contact was told that the vehicle was not part of a recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall, and referred the contact to the NHTSA.
