One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 1996 Ford Escort. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes: intermittent brake loss, brakes failed when driving at 15mph and attempting to stop, and there were no brakes. Car has been in shop approximately five times. Last time a master cylinder was put in ,but the problem is still there.
