Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings problem #1

I own a 2002 Excursion. Never in water or an accident. 85,000 miles only serviced by Ford,Lincoln dealerships. Lost 'brakes'. Brakes went to the floor. It turns out all the brake fluid lines (not the hoses) and the fuel line is 'rotted' out. Called Ford, case#[xxx] . Declined to do anything because vehicle out of 6 year warranty. Dealership said 'this never should have happened'. We need help, cost of replacing all close to $2000. I am the original owner. Can you help? we have a 2001 Ford van, 175,000 miles. All the lines are like brand new. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Gasoline Fuel System problem #2

The contact owns a 2002 Ford Excursion. While parked, the vehicle accelerated without warning and crashed into the front of another vehicle. The dealer was unable to diagnose the cause of failure. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer who replaced the throttle cable. The failure has not occurred since the replacement was made. The current mileage is 95,000 and failure mileage was 94,300. The consumer provided an eyewitness statement, freeport police repor, various articles pertaining to the defect, and the repair invoice. The dealer stated there is a strong smell of fuel, passenger door does not lock with remote, and customer overhead door is broken. Updated 08/27/07.
