Paint problem #1

2003 Ford limited Excursion the black paint is coming off the roof in 4 inch sheets to the metal and rusting. The hood is also starting to check up and chip badly the front fenders are missing 2 inch pcs of paint down to bare metal and rusting the dealer and Ford motor CO said its not there problem and they've never heard of this.

Door Hinge problem #2

The consumer stated that her son climbed into the vehicle and inadvertently stuck his fingers in the hinge area of the door. The consumer inadvertently grasped the door of the vehicle, smashing the child's fingers. The dealer and the manufacturer will be informed of the incident.

Structure problem #3

Ltr fm anthony and carol bartleson (FL) re the problems they are having with the dealership re their 2003 Ford Excursion w/defective paint job. Vehicle was returned by the salesman after being cleaned when the consumer noticed a stone ding in the left front fender. From hundreds of thousands of little red rust partials in the white paint to the hood being crooked. The tires weren't replaced like they were suppose to be. The dealership wouldn't warranty the paint job for over a year, no address the concerns regarding the tires.
