Lack of headrests on rear seat and middle seat Ford Excursion models. Cervical spine injury risks and unacceptable. I cannot believe Ford has been allowed to get away with this. A recall is in order.
No head rest on rear seat of Excursions and no shoulder belts on center rear seats. These safety features were developed specifically to prevent cervical spine and lumbar spine injuries and there is no excuse for these being absent. I could see Ford theoretically being held liable if persons were injured due to lack of these features. I strongly believe Ford should provide an aftermarket solution to solve this problem. Dr. W. J.
