I purchased this truck 3 months ago from mike marooney north. When I got home I noticed it would not stay in park at all. This caused it to roll down the street with my baby in it. I have made over 50 attempts to get the dealer to put me in a safe vehicle or refund the $3200 back. They refuse to call me back or email me. They told me it was fixed after 3 days but it wasnt.
I was driving on the interstate when the first incident happened doing about 65 mph, I noticed my truck started driving funny so I slowed down and I head I loud pop. Knew right then and there I blew a tire on the rear. Had a hard time trying to get to the side of the shoulder. It caused alot of damage to the rear fenders, back bumper, bent my rim scratches all down the side and window. Its was just me and my boyfriend at the time. The 2nd incident happened with 6 kids under the age of 5 in the truck. This time it damn near flipped us. Had a hard time controlling the truck but managed to get it to a safe place. This cause damaged under my truck and ripped my running board and attaches to my rim. So I blew 2 tires that were in good shape that had been checked in 3 days.
I was sitting outside on my patio and I heard a cranking sound over and over again and I thought it was someone in need when I went to go look it was my vehicle sounding like it was cranking by itself and then it started smoking under the hood and under the vehicle. My keys were in my apt the whole time and my vehicle was parked. I called the fire dept. And they said that it was a electrical so they disconnected the battery only. So it is unknow.
Steering sways its hard to drive it feels like steering isn't stable.
6. 0l diesel engines to address reported incidents of engine stalling while driving occured up to 9 times in one day. On Jun 25 took vehicle to certified diesel tech, no computer errors. D & s service techs trouble shot for 5 days to no avail. Manufacture has no advice for repair. After 1 week being serviced and over $1,800 of work it stalled again on July 3rd. This is a serious safety concern for myself and my family. Please help in addressing this matter. Thank you.

On sept. 29,2014i approached stop light and applied brakes, engine rpm increased very high and brakes would not hold vehicle - had to put it in neutral and engine rpm continue to go higher - this lasted for about 10 seconds before engine went back to idle speed then we proceeded home with no more problems. This has done this several times before and each time brakes would not hold vehicle back. I took it to Ford in 2013 and explained it to them and they said to put gas stabilizer in tank as the gas in tank was condensing and causing the computer to malfunction. I put the gas stabilizer in thinking this would take care of it but this time , sept. 29,2014 and the time before, June 2014 - it rev up slightly , it could not be the case these last two times as I had just put fresh gas in it. It is very scary it could have caused a bad accident. Now I am afraid to drive it. I am going to call Ford and see what they have to say this time.
