One problem related to anti-theft devices has been reported for the 1997 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Was driving SUV down highway and it just shut down. Found out it was the transponder on the anti-theft system burnt up. I felt that it is very dangerous to be designed that way.
