Two problems related to brake grinding noise have been reported for the 1997 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes work intermittently, brake pedal shakes/makes grinding noise, vehicle rolls to stop/extended stopping distance. Dealer has not duplicated problem, passed diagnostics test.
Abs brakes; when applying brakes in normal conditions, brakes make a grinding noise and fail to stop the vehicle, causing an extended stopping distance. Please provide details.
