Four problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1997 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 1997 Ford Expedition. While driving 60 mph, the dashboard components failed. Within seconds, the vehicle stalled. The dealer advised that the failure was due to fluid leaking into the engine. The vehicle was neither diagnosed or repaired. The current and failure mileages were 128,000.
Vehicle stalled at 55 mph. After inspecting vehicle dealer determined there was no oil in engine and one rod had blown. Dash indicator did not show low oil prior to this incident. Engine needed to be replaced.
Around 60 mph vehicle feels like it's shifting/ jerks, then stalls. Dealer cannot find problem, stated that water was getting in the engine.
While making a turn vehicle stalls unexpectedly which may cause a crash. Dealer replaced 2 iac valves. There is a back order on this part. Please provide further information.
