Three problems related to tank assembly have been reported for the 1998 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The valve inside the gas tank that keeps the gasoline from evaportaing in the air broke. Contacted the dealer, and they said this part very rarley breaks and there were going to charge consumer to have it fixed.
Upon moderate acceleration, after stopping, the engine hesitates then accelerates. Problem only occurs when the fuel tank is at or below 1/4 full.
