Failure Date: 09/13/2010

The contact owns a 2000 Ford Expedition. While traveling 55 mph the contact heard a loud popping sound coming from the rear of the vehicle, after examining the vehicle the contact noticed that a part of the vehicle had broken off the rear end of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic where the trailing arm was replaced. Prior to the failure the contact heard a clanking sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were 103000.

2 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 06/17/2002

While traveling on 40mph hour on highway bottom of vehicle dropped down in rear of suspension.

3 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 10/15/2001

While driving about 25mph back end dropped. Mechanic stated that it was defective suspension, and possibly came that way from manufacturer. No injuries in this accident.

4 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2000

When traveling on highway noticed that the rear end trembles and vibrates. Dealership is awrae of problem.

5 Rear Suspension problem

Air link cupler suspension causing rear suspension to drop. Dealer is inspecting vehicle. Please provide further information.
