Traveling on old adobe rd in petaluma, CA at approx. 25-30 mph, went over incline and saw traffic was stopped. Pressed hard on brake pedal and vehicle slowed but did not stop. Resulted in a 3 car accident.
My 2006 Ford Expedition shut off without any warnings in the midst of me driving the truck everything shuts down it's hard for me to steer my vehicle and the brakes locks up this was so scary driving the expressway and trying to maneuver a stalled vehicle.
Twice in last week, driving at slow speed and "engine fail safe mode" light comes on. Lost power, braking, and steering. Forced to put car in neutral while car was rolling to restart. Rolled right thru stop sign. Restarted fine, luckily. In second event, almost got hit when turning left across oncoming traffic! started turn and couldn't stop turn due to loss of braking. Fortunately, first time I tried the restart in neutral and it worked, otherwise I would have been hit in second event or hit something since I couldn't steer.
