The vehicle was not repaired and continued to experience the failure. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic and was also informed that exhaust system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
