The contact owns a 2018 Ford Expedition. The contact stated while driving 65 mph and attempting to change lanes, he depressed the accelerator to overtake the other vehicles and the accelerator became stuck. The contact stated that the cruise control had been activated while attempting to make the lane change. The contact stated that he removed his foot from the accelerator pedal however, the vehicle remained accelerating to almost 100 mph. The contact tapped the accelerator pedal to release the stuck pedal however, the accelerator pedal failed to respond.
