I recently discovered that the car seat harness is fraying on both sides. This is near the base (by hips of child in seat) where they enter the cushion and connect to the car seat. I think this is a defect and poses a risk, especially if I were to get in an accident. When I submitted a complaint with photos to baby jogger they replied "after reviewing the concern, please note that fraying is not considered a manufacturing defect. Fraying occurs gradually through normal use and wear over time rather than from a single incident and should be addressed before it gets worse. As a result, this type of condition is not covered under our warranty policy. " they did offer a whopping $100 off an item over $500. In my opinion this should be remedied by the vendor.
