Three problems related to interior rearview mirror have been reported for the 1997 Ford Explorer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear view mirror is causing poor visibility. Consumer on many counts has had close encounters of accidents. Dealer said that it was nothng they could do about it. The rear view mirror is at eye level and is hard to see vehicles that are behind. The service center said that it can not be adjusted or replaced.
The location of rear view mirror is mounted too low, which obstructs drivers vision. Driver not able to see to the right clearly. The dealer has been notified about the problem.
