One problem related to mechanical jack has been reported for the 1998 Ford Explorer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer had a flat and while jacking up vehicle , metaljack crumbled into pieces. Dealer was to contact consumer per manufacturer, but they have not called. Consumer states that the vehicle fell off jack.
