Nine problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1999 Ford Explorer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 55 mph vehicle stalled. Consumer managed to restart the vehicle on two occasions, but had the vehicle towed the third time. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
While driving vehicle stalled until it warmed up. Dealerships mechanic was notified. But the problem was not resolved.
While driving, the vehicle stalled.
Consumer stated while driving at any speed and with no warning the vehicle would stall.
Vehicle stalls without prior notice, and gas pedal gets stuck. Dealership is aware of problems.

Vehicle stalls while driving. Also, while sitting still or turning corners it will cut off. Vehicle has been taken to dealer & problem keeps reoccurring. Vehicle was picked up on 27-Mar-2000 & 28-Mar-2000, and taken back to dealer.
Vehicle starting in first turned and without any indicaton vehicle would stall. Dealer has been notified. Please provide further information.
