1 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

Failure Date: 11/21/2006

: the contact stated the transmission failed while driving 30 mph. There was smoke coming from the rear of the vehicle and when the contact stopped to inspect the problem, leaking transmission was noticed. The service dealer was notified and the vehicle was towed to a transmission shop where a computer diagnostics identified the problem as a failure to the onboard computer. The manufacturer was not alerted.

2 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1901

2003 Explorer engine stalling and surging when driving and coming to a stop. ***** the dealer reprogrammed the pcm. 8jb.

3 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

Consumer called complaining about having transmission problems. While vehicle was parked it started rolling back. The dealer was contacted, and stated that they could not find anything wrong with the vehicle.
