Tl- the contact owns a 2003 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that within a month of owning the vehicle that an independent mechanic inspected but did not specifically diagnose that the rotors, brake pads and further servicing was required to the brake system. The vehicle was not inspected and diagnosed by a dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, they had not issued any brake system recalls however they had issued 10 TSB on the brake system. The vehicle was not repaired yet. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.
