While driving the car just cut off. No warning .
Rear lift gate glass shatter during the time of this incident my vehicle had been parked in my driveway, on a county road for 12 days. All windows were rolled up the full duration of that time. The tempuraters ranged from the mid 70s to mid 90s. While parked it was detected that the rear lift gat gate glass had shattered. There were no objects found in or around the vehicle that could have either been thrown, his against or fallen into the window causing this damage. There appeared to be approximately the same amount of glass outside of the vehicle as was inside. A report has been filed with the local sheriff department and is on file.
While the vehicle was parked in a church parking lot, I had just exited the driver's door and it was still open, the tailgate window exploded.
While vehicle was stationary/parked, back lift gate glass exploded. This happened on December 26, 2015. After having it professionally replaced, it again exploded while parked on January 29, 2016.
This vehicle has less than 60,000 miles on it and the transmission is out. There is no reason for this. It is jerking into gear hard. We took it and had it put on a diagnostic test and it is not electrical which means it is internal.
The visor on the driver site, the mirror assembly has separated from the visor and the on the passenger side the cover of the mirror assembly has snapped. The passenger side mirror is rarely used since a passenger is rarely in the site. The clips holding the driver side mirror assembly snapped off and the only thing holding the mirror on is the feed line for the mirror lamp.
The vehicle will not recognize that it is in park. It may take up to 10 minutes of wheel turning and gear shifting before car will recognize it is in park. Ford serve stated that they could take car apart an four it together and not solve the problem.
I have a problem with my 2007 Ford Explorer ? dual automatic climate control does not work properly: in auto mode (during cooling process) very cold air blows into my face through panel vents and warm air through the vents in footwell. No flow direction change, no recirculation at all. And I hear clicking noise from behind the dash panel. Warm air blows down in every mode (face, face-feet, windshield-feet) that I chose. I learned from internet it's a blend door actuator problem and it's been in place since 1995 for Explorer model. Our local Ford dealer says my ac is ok - no failures shown by scanner device. But I know there is the problem - the scanner shows only the actuator motor move but not the door move. Motor may be ok and the gear may be stripped. They just don't want to fix it. I know it?s a safety problem also because some time the blend door will break completely and my windows will be frozen in winter.
