Engine carrier or cradle rusted and cracked causing drivers side a arm to make wheel unsteerable pullng vehicle to the left. Could have caused serious accident or head on collision as it was pulled into oncoming traffic lane. I was able to steer vehicle into a parking lot and had to have it towed to my mechanic who confirmed the the cause was by rust through on sub frame engine carrier . Component was not inspected by mfgr ,police or insurance rep. There were no warnings or any symptoms prior to the failure. I was making a right turn at approx 10mph when I heard a snap or crack and lost control of the steering.
There is a extreme exhaust smell that comes in my truck whenever I turn the heat on. The excessive fumes are causing my children and me to experience dizziness and headaches. The smell only comes in the truck when the heat is on. The smell is still strong even when I crack the windows. It's unbearable at this point and I'm afraid I mat experience an accident, because I'm become so lightheaded. The fumes are still excessive whether the truck is sitting or in motion.
Exhaust fumes coming into the cabin while in motion. I noticed this issue when we bought the car in 2015. I complained to Ford in December 2016 and was told that I have to pay to have the hoses rerouted so that the exhaust fumes don't come into the cabin. I called Ford again today and once again they told me I had to pay to fix this issue. I drive with my windows cracked or opened due to my concern of the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning while driving the car by myself or with my children as passengers.
We have a exhaust smell in the cabin area when the vehicle is running, mostly when the climate control is operating and more so when the rear air is in operation. We have reported it to our local dealer (future Ford of roseville CA. ) and they have done nothing for the problem. We try to drive with the windows cracked open as if you dont we get burning sensation in the eyes and other irratations from it. We have also tryed to trade off the vehicle and have been offered less than half of what the vehicle blue books for . We would like this problem addresed.
