While traveling on I-85n at 70mph, the front passenger tire suddenly came apart from both sidewalls. The tire is a evoluxx capricorn 4x4 hp, 255/50r20, 109v, xl. The tire blow-out only caused minor damage to the inner wheel well shroud.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 12/06/2021

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer equipt with bridgestone dueler alenza plus tires size p245/60/18, dot rbvdrim0916 . The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph a rotational noise was present coming from the front driver side of the vehicle. Upon inspection it was discovered that the front driver side and passenger side tires had experienced cracking located above the tire bead area on the inside wall of the tire. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 41,000.

3 Tire problem

Failure Date: 11/08/2020

Tl the contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer equipped with hankook tires, tire line: ventus s1 noble 2, tire size: 255/50/r20, dot number: 5mnc 1a h 0716. The contact became aware of tread separation on all four tires. The contact stated that the failure was more severe on the two front tires. The vehicle was not taken to have the tires replaced. The contact also stated that the tires failed to maintain the proper tire pressure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 16,132.

4 Tire problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2018

Tl- the contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer equip with hankook ventus s1 noble 2 tires sized 255/50r20-108h and the dot number 5mnc 1a h0118. The contact stated that while inspecting the tires it was discovered that the tires had experienced cracking and gudges on the inside and outside of the tires. The failure was present on all four tires. The contacted also indicated that while driving at various speeds the vehicle would shake and vibrate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer autonation Ford located at 7700 blanding blvd, jacksonville, FL 32244 who replaced all four 4 tires with the same brand size and model tires but approximately 13,000 miles later the same failure had occurred. The contact was unable to reach out to the manufacturer in reference to the failures. . The failure mileage was 18000 . Jft 08/01/2016.

5 Tire problem

While parked we noticed the tires on our 2016 Ford Explorer are shredding. All 4 tires are shredding, literally falling apart.

6 Tire problem

All 4 original hankook tires provided on my 2016 Ford Explorer are shredding and treads are delaminating at 16,000 miles and 14 months of use. There are currently 14 other complaints about this issue under 2016 Ford Explorer complaints, but those people did not list them under the tires complaint portion of this website! please look into this issue, as it is clearly nationwide and reminiscent of the firestone Ford Explorer issues!.

7 Tire problem

Failure Date: 02/11/2017

Tl-the contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer equipped with hankook tires, tire line: ventus-s1 noble2, tire size: 255/50/r20, dot number: 5mnc1-ah5215. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware, of chunks of tire missing from the tire. The vehicle was taken to a tire facility to be inspected. The contact was not given a cause for the failure of the tire. The manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage on the tire and vehicle was 16,000. Ah.
